Man... I plowed through the first two chapters of HPB like nobody's business. That's how quickly I can go through one of these things. But worry not... I haven't finished the entire book. I told Skinny that I'd bring his and that we'd read together. Besides, I'm a bit tired from the pickup anyway.

Work was... *sigh* I'm still working on my flashcards and stuff. One of the co-workers constantly tells me that she's sure that my Japanese is locked up inside my head, I just need to find a way to get it out. Learning the language isn't necessary for my job, but it is extremely useful and everyone in my department is fluent to varying degrees... so I'm sure that with their help and a lot more work on my part, I could get better.

Picking up the book was nerve-wracking. I bumped into Yago and chatted with him for a while. He wasn't there to pick up a book, he was there for moral support for his friends or something like that. I was kinda sad because I saw a bunch of people in costume and I wasn't able to dredge up my outfit in time for this particular pickup. In any case, there's one more book to go and I intend to go all out for that one...

Whilst wandering through the store before the official release, I spotted someone who still wants to smack me up in a bad way. I don't know if I was spotted, but I sure as hell wasn't in the mood to find out.

If anyone's curious... my ticket number put me at Slytherin, Second Year. However, I was on the first floor where the Gryffindor/Slytherin pickups were going on. The Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs were upstairs in the music department. Heh.
